Sleeping behind the wheel...

Is exactly what I seem to have been doing since the summer…shame on me!  I have been quite appalling at keeping my designs up to date and it is mostly pure laziness…whoops.  Either way, without further ado I will share all the nail designs I have had since my last post, Bohemian Lilac. Enjoy!

Bohemian Lilac

Time for another quick nail update! My last design (which I shall post here) held me quite a long time, almost stretching into 5 weeks! Getting better and better basically =) My new design is a twist on the classic French mani using Safety Gel's Pearl White and adding another French line underneath it and filling it with lilac shells. This should last me until I fly to Japan in about a week so my next update will probably be once I get back, in September! Hope you are all having a wonderful summer and remember to take care of your nails! =)

Design Updates!

I have not been as diligent of late with posting my designs, and as a result I now have more than a few photos to put up!  Without much further ado, here they are...

Safety Gel's Turquoise of the Sea with black and white lace stickers

Natural Pink gradation with pink glitter and stars

Red with gold tape detailing

Leopard print using Pearl White, Mauve Pink Pearl, Brown and finished off with a silver glitter line

This last design was the first time I tried my hand at doing a leopard print and I must say I am quite pleased with the result!  The bonus was that it was a lot easier than I thought and not as nit picky to apply as it looks.  I think it may be time to do a peacock design soon but we'll see what I come up with in the next week or so!  Have a lovely weekend everyone!

Cute & Classy

Three months into 2013 and I come with my first post!  Quite a disgrace I must admit, but I have been busy setting up a small nail company so time has seen me create a website (not yet finished) and a Page on Facebook.  So I apologise for the absence of posts and pictures!  That said, I have not taken a break in doing my nails so here are 4 designs that I've had since Christmas.

After New Year's I wanted something subtle yet with a little pizzazz so I went for a two-tone graduated design with "Opacity White" and "Gold".  I topped the tips off with a bit of gold glitter.

In time for Valentine's I decided to use "Pink Ribbon" with little white dots over the entire nail.

I've recently shied away from using bold colours and have opted for more neutral tones.  Here I went for a very nude look using the gradation technique with "Platinum Beige".  The nails look even better after a week or two when they have gotten longer =)

And still staying true to subtlety I chose a French mani using "Opacity White".  It was a while since I had this classic look with no added touches and sometimes simple is best!
